Enter the data in the dashlet. The name of the beneficiary is the description that will appear on the payslip.

There are three options for the method of deduction:

1. Up to a certain net amount. Here you enter the balance and the distraint threshold. The entered balance will be withheld as a distraint on wages. This happens until the employee's balance is at 0. The employee's net salary will never fall below the distraint threshold.

You can simply remove the distraints on wages that have expired. You can only delete this from that period and beyond. Everything remains in history. Even if you change the period (top right of the screen) to the months back, you will still see the 'old' information.

2. Fixed amount. Here you enter the balance, the distraint threshold and a monthly net deduction. This net deduction will be deducted from the salary every month. This happens until the employee's balance is at 0. The employee's net salary will never fall below the distraint threshold.

If an extra repayment has to be made in a period, for example if there is a bonus, the fixed amount for that period will have to be adjusted once.

3. Fixed amount till end period. Here you enter the balance, the distraint threshold, the monthly net deduction and the period for the last deduction. This net deduction will be deducted from the salary every month. This happens until the employee's balance reaches 0 or until the period of the last withholding has been reached. The employee's net salary will never fall below the distraint threshold.

When multiple distraints have been entered, there are a number of things to keep in mind:

You can indicate the priority in the dashlet. The distraint with a higher priority is always calculated earlier than a distraint with a low priority. You can adjust the priority using the arrows on the right.

You can also see the balance per distraint.

If you do not want wage codes to be included in the calculation for the distraint. You have to add bases. to the wage code that you want to exclude, add base 10080 Excluded from distraint. These wage codes are added on top of the distraint threshold. These wage codes therefore do not count in the calculation of the distraint on wages.
